Lieve Marlies,

We are very grateful that we had Marlies through the first week as first time parents. Her help and guidance was valuable. She took care of us and helped us get through some difficulties that came up always with a smile and positive energy.
She was kind and patient enough to speak the whole week english with us because she understood it was a challenging time for us as foreigners to practice our dutch at that time. The house was sparkling clean and she made us some delicious and colourful dishes and smoothies for lunch. I could tell that the baby felt really nice and secure with her.

As we told her many times, it felt like having Mary Poppins in our house for a week. We really hope if we have the chance to have a second child that she will be available to be with us again.
